These trousers are inspired by a block-printed tablecloth from the midcentury. Block-printing is one of the oldest styles of printing and involves carving a pattern into a (usually) wooden block, then using that block as a stamp to transfer designs onto fabric. We reproduced the grey-and-red floral pattern of the original tablecloth for these trousers, which are cut with a mid-rise and a straight leg.
